Poteau River Conservation District awarded an Education Mini-Grant to Waldron Elementary School this week. This grant will fund a school garden project called: Do the ROT Thing!
Mrs. Atchley’s STEAM class will be using these funds to teach basic composting. Composting is an excellent way to teach student gardeners about the life cycle of plants and how nature recycles.
